What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

Prompt Response:  The most creative thing I have ever made was probably when I was 10 or 11. I had a new found obsession with mountain biking and started riding trails and jumps, but at the time it was hard to get a ride that far to the trail so I had to improvise. I got my little brother to come outside and we got shovels and started digging up dirt. We started by build 2 berms in our backyard, packing layer by layer of dirt until it reached a decent height. Then, we wanted to have a little bridge so we found a pile of old pallets and started to saw them apart and drill them back together in the shape of a bridge. Then, we dragged 6 big logs to the very back of our yard where we dug down and used that dirt to cover the logs making it into little hills to pump through. We would even make it muddy so that it was more difficult to do.

Summary: I built a mini bike trail in my yard when i was younger with my little brother.

Reflection: I think it was the most creative thing Ive done because I came up with it on my own, with little materials or expierence with tools.

Thinking about "The Rockpile," what is something your parents forbade you from doing when you were growing up? Explain what it was and why they might have set that rule.

Think about the vocabulary words from Lesson Two. Write about a time you saw or heard one of these words outside of the classroom — maybe in a movie, song, social media post, or book. Describe how it was used and whether the context helped you understand the word better.

Write about a dream that felt real.
