Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?

Prompt Response: One day in my Ap Us history class, I had this weird feeling that there might be a pop quiz, even though nobody else seemed worried. I quickly skimmed my notes before the bell rang, just in case. Then, the teacher handed out a quiz, and I was one of the only people who actually knew the answers. Taking a few minutes to look out for myself really paid off, because I felt prepared unlike the people around me.

Summary: I had a gut feeling we where going to have a pop quiz so i reviewed my notes.

Reflection: Looking out for yourself is always benefical and its better to be safe than sorry.
