In “I, Too,” the speaker expresses pride in his identity and his rightful place in America. Reflect on your own life: What aspect of your cultural identity are you most proud of, and why?

Prompt Response:  I am most proud of being born in the south, which has given me many experiences I don't think I would have had yet. The food of the South is one of my favorite things about it. I'm also grateful for having so many opportunities to go fishing, both deep sea and local ponds.

Summary: I am proud to be from the South.

Reflection: Living in the south has given me my manners, food tastes, and the ability to fish in many different places.
